Timothy L. Moore                               

Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain, Genentech

Timothy L. Moore is senior vice president, Global Supply Chain, at Genentech. In this role, he is responsible for managing the entire drug production lifecycle, including overseeing the Manufacturing Collaborations and Fill/Finish Operations groups.

Moore joined Genentech in 2004 as vice president, Corporate Engineering. Later in 2004, Moore was named vice president, South San Francisco Manufacturing. In that role, he was responsible for all manufacturing operations in South San Francisco, as well as the start-up of the clinical manufacturing operation in Oceanside, California, and a new fill/finish plant in Hillsboro, Oregon. Moore ensured that the company met demand requirements for its commercial and clinical products in compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMPs). Moore was promoted to his current position in January 2007.

Prior to joining Genentech, Moore served as vice president, Operations at ZLB Behring (formerly Aventis Behring), where he managed aseptic and biological manufacturing operations. Moore has also held production and engineering positions at Merck & Co.

Moore holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Tulsa and a Master of Science in engineering management from Northwestern University.
